INDEPENDENCE DAY| MY PRAYER FOR NIGERIA

Sunday, October 1, 2017

Happy Independence Day Nigeria! Nigeria is 57 today. What a milestone! I have a love-hate relationship with Nigeria, as I'm sure most people have. I love the way Nigerians find humor in everything , in things as serious as recession, absent president , Ebola ,etc we always find a way to laugh in the midst of our problems . I also hate the stagnancy the nation is facing currently and I have a list of wishes that I have for our great nation. Think of them as birthday wishes.

SENSE. Honestly. I just want Nigeria to have sense in every sense of the word. From the youngest person to the most senior citizen.
CONSCIENCE. Can we all just do things to each other the way want them to be done to us because if you want to prosper , you'll also want people around you to prosper.
GOOD GOVERNANCE. This is self explanatory. If we have leaders that have the citizens in mind , I think we would have progressed further than this.
UNITY. This one has been my prayer of recent with the state of the country. Lord, please solidify our unity. Amen.
LOVE amongst ourselves. We need love to enable us move forward and grow.
All these and much more are my fervent wishes and prayers concerning our land. I hope everyone joins me to pray. My makeup was inspired by the Nigerian flag. This post is also a collaboration with Niella of thebudgetbella.wordpress.com. Please check out her post after reading this.
